According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, righthanded pitcher Jeurys Familia is once again dealing with a bout of biceps and will soon be examined by team doctors at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
Familia said he doesn’t feel any pain, but is unable to extend his arm fully in his delivery. He’s been on the disabled list since May 12.
Familia posted a 3.48 ERA in 10 1/3 innings pitched for the Mets this season.
