Lara’s open spot in the rotation would be tomorrow, would bet we see Delgado get that start. Delgado deserved a promotion anyway.
Really bummed about McNeil missing time, looked like he had tried hard this offseason to bulk up and some pop.
Rosario singles in his first bat but St. Lucie trails 1-0 in the 3rd inning.
Dom Smith flew out to deep LF in his first at bat.
Kevin Kaczmarski is now 3 for 5 since coming off the dl.
Kevin Taylor gets St. Lucie on the board with a RBI single, they trail 5-1. Rosario has walked and singled.
Nido with a three-run ties the St. Lucie game at 5 in the 4th inning.
Two-run single by Tyler Pill gives the B-Mets a 2-1 lead in the 5th inning.
Rosario really needs to be in Bingy.
6th triple of the season tonight.
He has been a beast, still pretty damn cold in Bingo though.
RBI triple by Rosario followed by sac fly from Becerra and St. Lucie has a 7-5 lead.
Two-run double by Dash Winningham and the Fireflies have a 4-0 lead.
Best name in the Mets system.
Flexen getting knocked around again I see….
The guy is really disappointing me early on.
Pill with 9 k’s through five innings for Bingo who is winning 3-1.
I’m partial to Hengelbert Rojas.
Yes he is, leaving the ball up from what I’ve heard and breaking ball hasn’t developed liked I had hoped.
Still not a fan of his…minor league filler in my opinion.
Yes sad to hear about McNeil . Possibly our future Ben Zobrist type . Man this Mets Farm needs one more all around caliber baseball player at 3b to make them rich at all positions when the veterans leave . Imagine by 2018-19 we keep all our pitchers because of the talent we have in the farm when it comes to positions . A lineup like this …
1. SS Rosario
2. 2B . Herrera
3 LF . Conforto
4. 1B . Smith
5. RF . Beccera
6. 3B . Thompson or quite possibly a pick from this year’s draft )
7. Lindsay or possibly Lagares/Nimmo or LindsayNimmo
8. C Plawecki or someone else
100 percent agree, would still convert him to a hitter. Two RBI tonight in fact.
I’m still not ready to give up on Garcia or Urena at third, each for different reasons.
What happened to McNeil?
Hernia surgery, out 4 to 6 weeks. Noted in the game notes.
You mean you want me to read?
Eudor Garcia right , what were his stats last year before the suspension ??
His suspension was this offseason, so yes.
Lol, well geez you better start or I’m out of a job.
Pill gives up two in the 6th and Bingo is tied at 3.
Where you able to watch him in person , what’s your perception of him?
Like the swing, has good pop and pulls the ball with authority. Iffy whether or not he stays at 3B defensively. I could see a shift to first in his future.
Also he is a long ways off but Ali Sanchez is the catcher to keep an eye on.
Struck out two more in the 7th, has 11 k’s on the night. Pretty shocking really.
I had many teachers state the same thing…I guess your union isnt as strong as theirs.
Single, sac fly, and HBP for Becerra. Average up to .417
lolol
He’s gotta be able to play in the cold to handle new York.
I agree, just going by what the Mets have said.
Fireflies headed to the 6th inning with a 5-2 lead. Really like what I have seen from Chase Ingram this year. Think he could be a Dillon Gee type.
Pill losing it.
When do the short seasons start? June?
Kingsport 23rd and Brooklyn 19th.
They probably just wanted him to gain some confidence in A+.
Urena homer, six hits over last two games.
Dom Smith flies out with the bases loaded to end the game for Binghamton.
Maybe he is waking up.
Another RBI hit by Rosario, three hits and two RBi tonight.
Followed by an RBI single from Becerra who is now hitting .424.
So much for the FSL being a pitchers league.
Adding Vegas lineup, Cecchini out again with sore back.
Gsellman moving up in your eyes, Michael after such a hot start and reports that he is hitting 95+ regularly?
Dilson is on a roll since he returned to the lineup after his injury put him on the bench for a while.
Can’t move up much higher because I have always been higher than him than most. But yes he looks like a more legit 3/4 MLB starter at 95 MPH and throwing a slider now.
Rosario a top 50 prospect in the mid season rankings?
Absolutely, someone had him at 42 already but I can’t remember off the top of my head who.
#98 BA and #78 BP
.292/.340/.442 with 9 homers, including one to right field in what was the hardest park to homer, in the Minors.
St, Lucie wins 14-6, have scored 29 runs in last two games. Becerra up to .424 and 2nd in baseball.
Must have been Law then.
Thanks Teddy, I totally misread his question.
There’s been chatter of a pick at 3rd base this year.
Would be nice to see both those guys in Binghamton soon.
Not bad for a throw in.
ha, no prob.
Vegas Mets face off against Chris Heston.
Cecchini out again. Wally got no time to develop players.
“Tool shed” as I recall.
Unfortunately its with a sore back.
