3 more errors for Cecchini….fast infield eating him up?
4 of Nimmo’s home runs have come on the road
Stay healthy top prospects. Injury bug hurting this year.
Are you saying all his power isn’t Cashman? That would be the opposite of feeding the narrative good sir.
Same with his slash line against southpaws
Two things jumped out at me last night:
– Gilmartin is hitting .400 for the year
– Domingo Tapia is on the comeback. Fresh off TJ surgery, he was a better prospect than Familia. Really big arm. Pulling for him.
I think that is the most surprising/promising thing despite it being SSS.
Would be a lot larger of a sample size if the AAA manager made player development his primary focus.
We can all surely agree that it’s more important to get Roger Bernadina more at bats.
I hope he just stays in the bullpen, that is where he belongs.
Very excited to see Nimmo hitting for power. He’s having a great year and hitting lefties well. He may turn out to be an every day player after all.
I’m rooting for Tapia too! He had a great FB. Could be a good bullpen piece down the road.
if granderson gets hurt, is it Nimmo time?
Not sure about him being a better prospect than Familia – certainly never had nearly the movement on his FB that Familia has always had. May have thrown with more velo, but a flatter FB.
That said, if either he or Mateo can bounce back from TJS, they could be solid BP pieces for years to come.
I still like Backman, but he continues to confound me with how he has regularly given PAs to AAAA players over legit, high prospects.
