In addition, the Mets have already invited Ben Rowen to Spring Training. Rowen, who the Mets signed to a minor league deal, spent the 2016 season as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers organization.
Every member of the Mets 40-man roster will also be at Spring Training. This includes Chris Flexen, Tomas Nido, Amed Rosario, Wuilmer Becerra, and Marcos Molina, who were all added to the 40 man roster prior to the Rule 5 draft.
Of note, Tim Tebow is not among the group of players invited to participate in the major league portion of Spring Training.
I see you Champ 🙂
Oh and the Mets need to make a decision on Travis Taijeron. I remember him doing well last spring in big boy camp. He had a fine season in Vegas. I’m not arguing the K rate. Just saying a decision needs to be made about his future in the Mets organization and not just being a AAA all star player again.
That’s what he his, AAA filler. It wouldn’t hurt to let him learn how to use a first base mitt though.
