…Well, that happened. The Cyclones were kind enough to release an official statement on the matter for interested parties, though.

We know that all of you have been waiting for months to see the return of Cyclones baseball, and that is why we tried to do everything in our power to get the 2013 Cyclones season at MCU Park underway tonight.

However, Mother Nature had other ideas. We appreciate the patience and dedication of the fans who did brave the elements and made the trip to MCU Park and we apologize that you weren’t able to see baseball this evening. HOWEVER, fans who have tickets for this evening’s game will be able to come back to see the Cyclones again this summer.

We hope to have a makeup date finalized by Monday, June 24 and at that point, give you further instructions as to how to proceed with the exchange process for that game, or another game during the 2013 season. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we tried our best to give everyone in attendance what they wanted to see…Cyclones baseball.
