The Mets have signed left-handed pitcher Rob Zastryzny and catcher Nick Dini to minor league deals. Rob Piersall of MetsLegends was the first to report the transactions.

Zastryzny, 29, last pitched in the big leagues during the 2018 season for the Cubs when he had a 4.76 ERA in six relief appearances. The former second round pick had a 3.68 ERA and 12.6 K/9 in Triple-A for the Marlins in 2021. Though, he did allow seven home runs and walk 15 in those 30 innings for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.

Dini, 28, had his only big league action come in 2019 with the Royals when he had a .627 OPS in 20 games. The New Jersey native did hit .303/.357/.494 in 26 games this past season in Triple-A Omaha.
