Zwack was drafted by the Mets in 2021 in the 17th round and has split the 2022 season between Low-A St. Lucie and High-A Brooklyn. He has been impressive so far in his minor league career.

Since being drafted, he has an overall ERA of 1.92 and has only allowed 14 earned runs on 49 hits and has struck out 87 in 65 2/3innings pitched between the Florida Coast League, Brooklyn, and St. Lucie.

According to Michael Mayer of Metsmerized, since being called up to Brooklyn from St. Lucie, Zwack has thrown 46 innings, giving up just seven earned runs, 10 walks, has 50 strikeouts and a 1.37 ERA.

Most recently, Zwack struck out 10 in six innings pitched on Wednesday night, which marks the most strikeouts by a Cyclones pitcher since Kyle Wilson in 2018. He did not give up any runs in his outing either.

The left-hander is impressive. Per SNY’s Jacob Resnick, his pitches range 90-93 mph, and he has a 33 percent strikeout rate, six percent walks, and a 47 percent ground ball rate.

At just 23-years old, Zwack will continue to be a prospect to watch.
