The Mets have signed right-handed pitcher Yuhi Sako to a minor league deal.
Sako, 25, spent the 2024 season pitching for two different Indy ball teams. He pitched in two games for the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League and 16 games with the New Jersey Jackals of the Frontier League. B
Between the two teams, Sako had a 3.23 ERA and gave up only 90 hits. He had 93 strikeouts compared to only 28 walks during that span.
