Tidwell had trouble all game locating his pitches, which signaled his early exit. Despite the lack of location, Tidwell’s fastball was consistently at 98 MPH topping out at 99. Whether or not Tidwell can control his arsenal will determine how soon he is with the New York Mets. Tyler Zuber came in with the bases loaded and induced a double-play ball, with him orchestrating the play. Dedniel Núñez was consistently hitting 96 MPH with his fastball, topping out at 98 MPH in his two scoreless innings of work, striking out two and walking one.
Syracuse will continue its series against the RailRiders on Friday at 6:35 P.M. The RailRiders will send out RHP Jake Woodford (0-0, 0.00 ERA) and Syracuse will send out RHP Justin Hagenman (0-0, 15.00 ERA).
