As Syracuse, Brooklyn, and St Lucie had winning days, the Mets’ affiliates were successful all around the minors. Syracuse beat Scranton by a score of 7-4. The Cyclones blew out the Blue Rocks by a score of 15-1, and St Lucie edged out a win over the Hammerheads by a score of 6-5.

Triple-A

Syracuse Mets (3-3) 7, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (4-4) 4

Box Score

Brandon Sproat dazzled for Syracuse going four innings while only allowing one run with two strikeouts, as he looks to continue his path towards Queens. He allowed two walks as command looks to still be an issue, but a much better outing from his last start.

High-A

Brooklyn Cyclones (2-0) 15, Wilmington Blue Rocks (0-2) 1

Box Score

Jacob Reimer, the Mets’ fourth-round pick in the 2022 draft out of Yucaipa HS, reached base three times, going 3-for-5 with 5 RBI. Reimer already has 8 RBI, which is more than he had last year in 14 games. The 21-year-old will look to build off these strong performances for his 2025 campaign.

Right-handed pitcher Brendan Griton made his Brooklyn debut and was solid, giving up one run in 2 2/3 innings of work. That run was his only mistake on his outing as the right-hander out of Texas Tech impressed with five strikeouts and one walk.

Low-A

St. Lucie Mets (1-1) 6, Jupiter Hammerheads (1-1) 5

Box Score

The Hammerheads jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning, capitalizing on a pair of errors and walks before Jesus Hernandez delivered a one-out, two-run single off Christofer Gomez, Jupiter’s final hit. The Mets answered with a four-run bottom of the first, highlighted by a two-run double from Trace Willhoite and a two-run homer by Trey Snyder, the first of his career. From there, Mets pitching took over, as Gomez, Frank Elissalt, Hunter Hodges, and Hoss Brewer combined for eight hitless innings and 13 strikeouts, contributing to a 16-strikeout night overall. Vincent Peroza showed off his laser-arm, throwing out two attempted base-stealers from behind the plate.
