Congratulations to Mets Pitching prospects Chris Flexen of the Kingsport Mets and for being selected as the 2013 Topps/MiLB Players of The Year for Appalachian League.
In just two seasons in pro ball, Flexen, who is only 18 years old, showed that he is ready to be a dominating pitcher by playing a huge role in Kingsport’s dominating 2013 season as they won their division and made history. In 11 starts, the right hander posted an 8-1 record, with a 2.09 ERA, two CG, 62 strike outs in 69 innings. As dominating as any pitcher can be, he won eight of his last nine starts and averaged six innings per start. If he continues to build on his great season, he will put his name right up there with other top pitching prospects within the organization. Great year for this young man and looking forward to many more.

Whats his scouting report. Is he a soft thrower or hard thrower.
