Tidwell did not have great control today, but limited the runs while failing to get out of the fourth inning. Dylan Ross battled some control issues but did not allow a run and struck out two in his inning of work.

Chris Suero has had a rough introduction to Double-A but did manage to walk on Wednesday. Ryan Clifford keeps showing his power is real and despite the low batting average has had a pretty solid month, slashing .210/.329/.548.

Brian Metoyer had a great bounce-back outing after struggling on July 13th. Since his promotion, he has only been scored upon in one of his six appearances. Luis Moreno has been hit had in July, allowing a .306 batting average in 12 and one-third innings.

Brooklyn only managed four hits and a walk, with an A.J. Ewing RBI double being the only run driven in and extra-base hit. Colin Houck can’t wait for July to end, slashing .137/.220/.216 with 20 strikeouts in 51 at-bats.

In a pitching duel, the Cyclones bullpen just couldn’t keep it scoreless. Brett Banks allowed his first run since June 28th and hitters have hit .240 against him this month compared to .185 in June.

Nick Roselli has been a man on fire in July, slashing .308/.438/.385 with eight runs scored and an 8/8 BB/K ratio. Daiverson Gutierrez had his 21st error of the season, showing while his offensive game is coming around he is still rough behind the plate, which is easy to explain for a player who will play the entire 2025 season at 19 years old.

Edward Lantigua hit his third home-run of the season and Dangelo Sarmiento his his first of the season. Daniel Silva went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Branny De Oleo stole his 16th base of the season.
