As of 9:00am EST today, here are today’s Mets minor league starting pitchers:

las-vegas-51s

Las Vegas 51s @ Salt Lake Bees 9:05pm EST

Matt Fox (3-2, 4.18 ERA) vs. Barry Enright (3-5, 7.71 ERA)

PCL League Scoreboard

Fresh off being named the MMN Pitcher of the Week, Fox looks to continue his hot streak on the mound. He’s only earned one win in his last two starts, but has allowed eight hits on two walks and nine strikeouts in 12 shutout innings. Fox has consistently thrown six innings in his starts; he’s thrown six frames in seven of his 10 starts, including his last five in a row.

The first place B-Mets are enjoying the EAS All-Star break. Five Binghamton players will be playing in the game tonight in New Britain. They kick off their second half of the season tomorrow with a doubleheader against the Portland SeaDogs.

Hansel Robles (3-2, 3.46 ERA) vs. TBD

FSL League Scoreboard

St. Lucie hasn’t announced their probable starter for tonight yet, but I’m going to guess it’ll be Robles. He last pitched on July 4th against Jupiter, which was his first FSL start since May 19th. It went OK, but not great; Robles allowed two runs while scattering nine hits (one homer) and two walks, while striking out five in 4.1 innings pitched. In his eight starts in High-A, he’s lasted at least five innings only four times.

A - sand gnats

Augusta GreenJackets @ Savannah Sand Gnats, 7:05pm EST

TBD vs. Marcos Camarena (3-0, 1.90 ERA)

SAL League Scoreboard

Camarena heads to the mound for his second start this season with Savannah, and the first one was rather successful. On July 3rd against Hickory, he earned the win after allowing one run on four hits, two walks, and four strikeouts in five innings pitched. He’s enjoyed pitching in front of the home crowd in 2013; all three of his wins have come at Grayson Stadium.

Brooklyn Cyclones @ Auburn Doubledays, 7:05pm EST

Seth Lugo (1-1, 5.79 ERA) vs. Jake Johansen (0-1, 1.04 ERA)

NYPL League Scoreboard

Lugo took his first loss of 2013 against Aberdeen on July 4th. The right-hander allowed four runs on five hits (two homers), three walks, and four strikeouts in five innings pitched. Through three starts, Lugo has thrown 14 innings, and has seen opposing hitters collect 14 hits and six walks. They’re hitting .259 against him so far this season.

Kingsport Mets @ Danville Braves, 7:00pm EST

Persio Reyes (0-1, 9.45 ERA) vs. Jorge Montenegro (1-0, 3.46 ERA)

APP League Scoreboard

After throwing three shutout innings of relief in his season debut on June 28th, Reyes got hit hard on July 6th, which was his first start of the year. The Johnson City Cardinals put up seven runs on seven hits, two walks, and struck out four times before Reyes made his exit after 3.2 innings pitched. They hit .412 off Reyes in his start.

GCL Cardinals @ GCL Mets, GM 2, immediately following GM 1

TBD vs. TBD

GCL League Scoreboard

The Mets are playing their second doubleheader in three days. The first game is a completion of the suspended game from July 2nd. The young ballplayers will get their first taste of playing under the lights as professionals this season. The probable starters haven’t yet been announced.
