The Brooklyn Cyclones had a disappointing season going 33-43 in part due to a offense that struggled greatly, scoring a league worst 3.46 runs a game. The league average for runs scored in the New York-Penn League in 2015 was 4.25 per game. The Cyclones offense also had a league worst .600 OPS and struck out a league high 684 times.

The pitching for the Cyclones was better with a 3.25 ERA while the league average was 3.58. They gave the fewest amount of hits in the league, 574 in 676 innings and the third fewest homeruns with 22. Their staff was tied at 22-years old with the Staten Island Yankees for the oldest in the league though.

Starting pitcher Gaby Almonte, reliever Alex Palsha, and second baseman Vinny Siena (14th RD, 2015) were named midseason New York-Penn League All-Stars. Palsha also won the Mets Sterling Award (MVP) for Brooklyn after saving 13 games with a 0.36 ERA in 24.1 innings.

The Cyclones lead the league in attendance (230,658/6,234 average) for the 15th straight year. They also became the first New York-Penn League team to ever break the 4,000,000 fan mark and just the third short season franchise to ever do so.
