Over his last two starts, Knapp has given up 22 hits and 12 earned runs over 9.2 innings, although he has only walked one batter. Baldonado retired all five batters he faced in his second AAA appearance.

Paez has shown impressive power so far this season, with 17 of his 30 hits going for extra bases, including five home runs. Brandon Brosher also had a home run in the game.

Hopefully Chex gets on a role. I have a feeling he will be needed soon.
Cecchini might get the call if Cabrera is gone for long or they can just use Flores/TJ at 3rd for now and have boring Matt Reynolds be the back up.
Also Paez was scouted as a guy who can hit. how is he at 3rd base if anyone knows. I know he’s not the Prototypical size for 3rd base but his bat is making up for it right now.
Reynolds to me shouldn’t be a consideration. I would rather see what we have in Chex.
Flores should take Duda’s spot at 1B. If Cecchini can field at 3B, he could be useful there.
Reynolds I don’t think gets consideration to start just to a back up. I agree Cecchini can provide more at the plate & in the field.
