AFL Recap 11/10: McNeil Has Two Hits, Hepple Gets Win

The Salt River Rafters got back in the win column with a 2-1 victory over the Peoria Javelinas and are currently two games out of first place in the East division of the Arizona Fall League.

Mets pitching prospect Mike Hepple picked up his first win of the fall pitching two scoreless innings allowing two hits and striking out one. He now has a 3.68 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in 7.1 innings pitched for the Rafters.

L.J. Mazzilli got the start at second base going 1 for 4 with a run scored and a double while hitting out of the number two hole. He is now just 2 for 19 with three walks and four strikeouts since being added to the roster.

Florida State League All-Star Jeff McNeil made the start at shortstop and went 2 for 4 with a stolen base. He made his fourth error of the spring, this one of the throwing variety. Jeff is now slashing .250/.340/.273 with seven RBI, three stolen bases, and runs scored in 14 games.
