The Salt River Rafters have now won six straight games after beating up the Mesa Solar Sox 12-6 yesterday. Colorado Rockies prospect Raimel Tapia hit a two-run inside-the-park homerun in the first inning and the Rafters never looked back.

L.J. Mazzilli came in as a pinch hitter and went 0 for 2 while playing second base. He is now 1 for 13 with a walk since being added to the Rafters roster.

St. Lucie Mets reliever Mike Hepple pitched the 9th inning allowing a run on two hits with one being a solo homerun. The 25-year old right-hander has a 5.06 ERA and 2.06 WHIP in 5.1 innings so far this fall.
