Mets outfield prospect Wuilmer Becerra was 1 for 3 with a RBI and hit by pitch last night for the Tigres de Aragua in the Venezuelan League. He extended his hitting streak to seven games and his RBI streak to four games. During his hitting streak he is 11 for 23 with five RBI, homerun, and seven runs scored.

Becerra has now hit safely in 10 of the 12 games he has played during winter league action. Overall he is batting .436/.450/.538 with nine runs scored, double, homerun, six RBI, and only four strikeouts. The regular season in Venezuela ends on December 29th.

Rafael Montero was scheduled to make his winter ball debut last night pitching in the Parallel League (minors) in the Dominican bit it was rained out.

Dilson Herrera has decided to end his winter league season in Colombia for personal reasons, he was suppose to compete in the Homerun Derby and All-Star game last weekend but did not. He finishes his season for the Toros de Sincelejo batting .250/.431/.386 with three stolen bases, three doubles, homerun, and ten walks in 44 at bats. Important to note that as a team the Toros have hit only 10 homeruns in 790 at bats.

Mets outfield prospect Pedro Perez is on the Toros team as well, he is hitting .262/.351/.279 with nine walks, nine runs scored, and six RBI. He split the 2015 regular season between the Brooklyn Cyclones and Savannah Sand Gnats batting .177/.227/.290 in 64 games.

Nabil Crismatt made one start for the Caimanes de Barranquilla in the Colombian League pitching five scoreless one-hit innings with eight strikeouts and picked up the win. To read more about the right-handed pitching prospect go here.

Mets first base prospect Matt Oberste is playing for the Caimanes as well, he won the leagues’ Homerun Derby last weekend and played in the all-star game. He is hitting .241/.313/.373 with three doubles, triple, two homeruns, and 15 RBI in 83 at bats.
