Arizona Fall League

Brett Baty‘s two-RBI double in the first helped lift the Salt River Rafters to a 6-3 win over Peoria Javelinas on Friday night. Baty’s game-changing hit in the first was accompanied by a single in third and an RBI single in the fourth inning.

The rest of the New York prospects couldn’t rack up a hit on the night, but all got on base. Notably, Hayden Senger had three walks. Carlos Cortes and Senger each scored in the second thanks to a two-RBI double from Diamondbacks prospect Buddy Kennedy.

Righty Colin Holderman earned his second save of the fall season pitching the game’s final inning. Holderman sealed the Rafters’ win with back-to-back strikeouts and a fly out.
