Very talented roster! I am hoping David Thompson can have a bounce back year. It would be nice to have a 3b prospect with some power other than Urena.
So rotation is Badamo, McIlraith, Canelon, Ingram?, and ? Thought Crismatt would make it.
Can anyone tell me why Lakewood is not on the Fireflies schedule? It’s the only place I can see them, but last year, Savannah did not come here. And this year they are not on the Fireflies schedule? What’s up with that???
Lakewood is a Phillies affiliate, but we are all Mets & Yankees fans here. The only games I went to were when Savannah visited.
I view this as our first true view of Thompson, he played a full college season, playoffs, the 59 games in Brooklyn. More games then ever before, fatigue had to play a role.
Some fans were not happy about Conforto taking some time before signing after school in 2014. Obviously long forgotten by now. Just something to consider when getting that initial look.
Good point. I bet switching to a wood bat didn’t help either.
May stretch out Conlon
I see a lot of guys jumping a level, this might be one of the more interesting teams to watch. Lot of talent on this roster, bit young but talented.
I was hoping/expecting to see Crismatt as well. I think there is a chance you will see Shaw make some starts as well.
I like Thompsons bat but ultimately think he ends up playing first base and could see time this year at the position.
So Oswalt, Knapp, Reyes, and Delgado all move up to STL?
Correct, joined by Prevost, Gibbons and Flexen as well. Underrated rotation IMO.
Definitely one of the more interesting teams in the Mets farm system. Could get even more so when Lindsay comes to Columbia.
You called this one, although I’m not sure he would have been my first choice. Likely just to work on his secondary stuff.
Ahh you know, can never have enough LH options. The curve ball is there, good poise. When/if he reaches AA re-evaluate and move back
