The Columbia Fireflies released the logo for the 2017 South Atlantic League All-Star Game today. The game will be played on June 20, 2017, at Spirit Communications Park.

Spirit Communications Park and the Fireflies will be hosting the all-star festivities in just their second year of existence. During their inaugural season, Spirit Communications Park was  named stadium of the year by Ballpark Digest. They also set a Columbia single season attendance record with 261,134 fans attending home games at the new stadium.

In the inaugural season of the Columbia Fireflies, the Jose Leger led team finished the year 67-73 and missed the playoffs. They did have some highlights along the way including a combined no-hitter in the first win of the franchise.

The Fireflies begin the 2017 season with a matchup against the Augusta GreenJackets at home on April 6, at 7:05 p.m.
