Adam Rubin of ESPN NY reports that Jacob deGrom will be scratched from Monday’s Las Vegas start and possibly can be called up in the next few days for a relief role.

DeGrom, 25, is 4-0, with a 2.58 ERA, and 29 strike outs in 38.1 innings for Las Vegas this season.  Other than his last outing where he gave up four earned runs on 10 hits in five innings of work, he has been the best pitcher in the Las Vegas rotation.

The Mets will make a final decision soon on if deGrom will follow Montero to the big club and join the Mets bullpen.
