Baseball America announced on Tuesday that the time of the season for the Arizona and Florida Complex Leagues has changed. Farm directors voted to move the season up a month to start on May 4, after starting on June 5 last year. The season will now wrap up on July 25, instead of August 22 it did last season.

This means both leagues will be almost over once new draftees sign. With that in mind, Baseball America reports some team officials could set up unofficial games in Arizona and Florida following the draft to get players needed reps during 2024.

Check out Baseball America’s article for more details.
