Karl of Delaware (Georgetown, Delaware): Predict where Cecchimi starts the 2014 season. St. Lucie?
Savannah?
Matt Eddy: Barring injury, Cecchini will start at Low-A Savannah, guaranteed, with Rosario likely ticketed to Brooklyn.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on something here that came up when I was reading over a chat on Baseball America. Matt Eddy was running the Mets Prospect Chat after ranking their Top-10, and this was one of the questions that came up. I was really happy to get a little confirmation that Rosario is projected to start in Brooklyn.
See, the easiest place for me to go check out our prospects is in Brooklyn — because I live in Queens, New York. So I’m always happy when I find out that our prospects will hit Brooklyn. Rosario, in my eyes, is our top prospect at the shortshop position and should turn out to be quite the player. Robert Whalen and Chris Flexen should both be in the Brooklyn rotation next year as well, so the Cyclones could be a real dominant team.

YOU KNOW I AM TOO LIL’ BRO!
