Juan Lagares, who should be meeting up with the Mets on Thursday in Colorado, finished Monday nights game with the 51s 1 for 4, with a strikeout.

Juan Lagares is batting lead-off for the 51’s and so far in the game he is 1 for 3, with a single and a strikeout through five innings.

According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, Lagares will head to Las Vegas to continue his rehab. The center fielder is  eligible to return to the Mets from the disabled list on Wednesday.

Juan Lagares officially began a rehab assignment on Sunday and went 1-for-4 for the St. Lucie Mets in the Florida State League.

Lagares, who was placed on the DL with a right hamstring strain, played center field and batted leadoff for St. Lucie.

He is eligible to come off the DL on Wednesday, but will likely join the team in Colorado on Thursday when the Mets begin a four game series with the Rockies.

Look for him to play one more rehab game in St. Lucie before jetting to Vegas for a pair.
