The Salt River Rafters took a 3-2 loss to the Mesa Solar Sox on Friday. Mets pitcher Colin Holderman threw a scoreless inning in the effort, improving his ERA to 11.37. A pitcher named Wilmer Flores started for the River Rafters, giving up two runs in two innings.

Dominican Winter League
Ronny Mauricio made his one at-bat off the bench count, he hit a game-tying RBI single in the ninth inning. He followed that by stealing second base.
The young shortstop is hitting .400 through eight games.

On Thursday, 57 Mets minor leaguers graduated from the organization’s education program. One of these was Luis Vasquez, who overcame bone cancer in 2017.
Robinson Cano will make his DWL debut on Wednesday for Estrellas Orientales.
