Lee was on base twice, drawing a walk in the third inning and hitting a groundball single to centerfield in the seventh.
Payton hit his sixth home run of the year and his second since the Mets traded for him. In 160 PA with Syracuse, his line is 304/.388/.435.

Yamamoto had one of his worst outings of the year. His ERA with Syracuse was 4.08 entering Wednesday’s game and rose to 5.96 by the end of his night.
Gsellman continued his rehab assignment, throwing a scoreless inning on 20 pitches, nine of which were strikes.
