The New York Mets announced their organizational minor league awards on Sunday. According to the press release, the following players were recognized:

  • Player Of The Year: Mitch Voit
  • Pitcher Of The Year: Jonathan Santucci
  • DR Academy Player Of The Year: Cleiner Ramirez
  • DR Academy Pitcher Of The Year: Abner Meza

Voit has been a revelation in his second full professional season. After a slow start with High-A Brooklyn, he turned it on to end his tenure resulting in a promotion to Double-A. With Binghamton, he slashed .347/.430/.517 (.947). Overall, between Brooklyn and Binghamton he hit 13 homers, stole 45 bases, and posted an .802 OPS in 2026.

Santucci split hit time between Double-A and Triple-A this season. The left-handed pitcher has struggled since his promotion to Syracuse, but has pitched much better as of late (two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts). Overall, he has a 3.99 ERA across 119 2/3 innings. His 157 total strikeouts ranks in the top-five of all minor league pitchers.

Ramirez, only 17 years old, slashed .241/.357/.462 (.819 OPS) across 145 at-bats in the Dominican Summer League. He stole 18 bases and was caught only once. Ramirez primarily served as a designated hitter but has capabilities to play at second base, shortstop, and center field. It was his first full season with the organization.

Meza, 19, was sensational in 2026 posting a miniscule 1.81 ERA across 49 2/3 Dominican Summer League innings. He struck out 50 and only walked 10. His WHIP was less than 1.000 at 0.966. It was his second full season with the organization.

In addition to the four players, two staff members were recognized. Field and gameplay coordinator, David Adams, was named Minor League Staff Member of the Year, lead DSL hitting coach, Bryce Wheary, was named DR Academy Staff Member of the Year, and senior scout, Cesar Aranguren, was named Marlin McPhail Scout of the Year.
