As the snow continues to fall in New York and the ice makes it almost impossible to get around, the Mets have packed their bags and are ready to leave town and head south to Florida for the warm weather and long days of sunshine and prepare for a new season.
Hopefully by the time Opening Day rolls around, the weather will get back to normal in New York. But for now the Mets will be enjoying the Florida sunshine and using the time to work towards making 2014 a special season of baseball for all Mets fans.
