Homestretch time!

The Mets are set to close out their 2025 MLB Draft with their last four picks! Follow along to find out who New York selected in the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th rounds!

Round 17Sam Robertson, SS, Northwest Shoals CC

With their Round 17 selection, the Mets went with Sam Robertson out of Northwest Shoals CC.

Originally at Auburn in 2024, Roberston played in 55 games this season, posting a .362 batting average in the process. He also notched 71 hits, four home runs, five triples, 107 total bases, and 55 runs.

Most impressively, Roberston set the single-season total base record for his school. At 61 stolen bases in 55 games, he also led the entire NJCAA with that mark.

Robertson is currently committed to playing college baseball at Jacksonville State next year.

Round 18: Dillon Stiltner, P, Trinity Christian School (GA)

In Round 18, the Mets dipped into the high school ranks to select Dillion Stiltner.

A senior at Trinity Christian School in Georgia, the pitcher recorded 79 strikeouts in 56.2 innings pitched in 2025 and held opponents to a .178 batting average. He dropped his ERA to 1.61 from 3,13 last season, while also dropping his HRs allowed to four from eight and his walks to 17 from 23.

As a hitter, Stiltner had 14 hits, three home runs, and 17 RBI in 52 plate appearances, according to his page on MaxPreps.

Perfect Game has the Georgia native as the 45th best player in the state of Georgia in the 2025 class and 141st ranked pitcher in the country. Baseball America had this to say about the latest Mets’ selection:

Round 19: Joe Scarborough, P, Jacksonville State

Staying with pitching in Round 19, the Mets selected a college arm in Jacksonville State’s Joe Scarborough.

Scarborough, before playing for the Gamecocks, spent two seasons at East Mississippi Community College. As a two-way player, he posted 54 hits and 50 RBI in two seasons. As a freshman, he recorded 27 strikeouts and finished with four saves and three wins at EMCC.

With the Gamecocks, Scarborough had 14 strikeouts and 20 walks in 2025. Despite allowing 13 earned runs and 22 hits in 17.2 innings pitched, the Mississippi native only allowed one home run.

Round 20: Garrett Stratton, P, Rice

The Mets, to finish up their slate of picks in the 2025 MLB Draft, dive into the pitching ranks once again.

A Notre Dame commit who previously played at Rice had 37 strikeouts and 24 walks in 40.1 innings out of the bullpen. He allowed 28 runs and had a 6.25 ERA on the season; however, Stratton had 10 outings where he gave up no runs in the 2025 season.

In his career, Stratton has 66 strikeouts and three saves in 75.1 innings pitched for the Owls.
