As exciting as it will be to see the Mets top prospects in the Big League Camp, having all the prospects report to camp will be the official start of the 2014 season.

Do we now have to put xorge carillo as a potential call up at catcher?
The way Carrillo swung the bat in the Mexican Winter League, I would definitely put a radar on him and watch how he does in 2014.
In 34 games last season with the B-Mets (AA), he did put up a good line with .296/.350/.352 in 108 at bats. The power wasn’t there but in Mexico he hit 3 home runs, and drove in 26 runs; now I am not sure about the quality of pitching that he faced in Mexico, but I like the numbers he put up and very excited to see if he is able to bring that over to the next level.
Not sure where he will start in 2014, and with Plawecki most likely slated for AA, I would want to see Carrillo given enough playing time again so he can prove that last season was a step in the right direction. But not sure who will be starting catcher in Las Vegas, probably Centeno, but would be a great place for Carrillo to start.
