With the Mets drafting Josh Wolf and Matthew Allan, the organization has sought to bolster the pitching in the lower levels of the minor leagues. To a certain extent, those goals have already been accomplished with the Mets GCL team having the eighth best team ERA in the league, and Brooklyn having the fourth best team ERA in the New York Penn League en route to their winning the championship.
