How has Blake Taylor looked since returning from his injury? Velocity?
I can understand the logic to not promoting catchers mid-season. But when he has basically finished his season and will get only get sporadic playing time, moving him up to be the back up would seem to be the better development path
At first, I thought it said “Mets acquire Pat Venditte” which got me really excited until I actually read the whole thing.
lol me to, always been fascinated by him and he’s always pitched well too.
Haven’t heard any velocity reports yet, been a little wild but that’s nothing new for him.
100% agreed, not like there is a good catching prospect in Bingo.
