Las Vegas 11 , Fresno 8

Noah Syndergaard picks up his first win of the season, and Zach Lutz continues his torrid pace, as the Las Vegas 51’s down the Fresno Grizzlies 11-8 in Pacific Coast League action.  Syndergaard made his Triple-A debut Friday night going six solid innings allowing two runs and striking out five.  The game looked like it was going to be a blow-out early when the 51’s jumped out to an 11-2 lead by the sixth inning.  Zach Lutz went 3-for-4, scoring three runs and driving in two more to bring his early season RBI total to six.  Trying to make his way back to the majors, Bobby Abreu was called on to pinch-hit for Syndergaard and answered the call with a three-run double in the sixth inning.  Jacob deGrom will start tomorrow for Las Vegas who looks to improve to 3-0 in the young season.
