Binghamton Vs. Harrisburg Rained Out

Dunedin 4, St. Lucie 3

St. Lucie lost a nail biter to the Dunedin Blue Jays, while having a runner on and had already scored two in the 9th. Dunedin struck first with a run off of an error from John Mora in the first which scored J.D. Davis. Then in the 3rd, Davis scored again on a wild pitch making it 2-0 Dunedin. In the 6th, Ryan McBroom doubled the score with a 2 run homer, chasing Scarlyn Reyes out. Reyes went 5.1 innings, giving up three earned runs and striking out three. Kevin McGowan relieved and struck out five in 2.2 innings.

On the offensive side, there was not much to show for the St. Lucie Mets ten hits. None of the players hit for extra bases, however, Luis Guillorme, Mora, Tomas Nido, and Jhoan Urena all collected two hits. Phillip Evans and Amed Rosario also collected a hit apiece, while Rosario stole his third base in five games.

In the bottom of the 9th, St. Lucie caused a bit of excitement, quickly loading the bases as Mora reached on a fielding error, and then three straight singles from Nido, Evans and Urena. Nido later scored on a sac fly by Patrick Biondi, and then Philip Evans scored on a Champ Stuart groundout. However, Guillorme struck out to end the game.
