On the eve of the 2019 season for the Mets full season minor league affiliates, the organization has made some roster transactions. The transactions includes the names of some players who were noticeably not included on the Opening Day rosters.

As reported by Tim Britton of The Athletic reports infielder Gavin Cecchini and RHP Walker Lockett have been placed on the seven day injured list.

Cecchini spent almost all of the 2018 season on the injured list after fouling a ball off of his foot. While he was able to appear in five Spring Training games hitting .286/.583/.429, he has been sidelined with an unspecified quad injury. Due to the injury, he is participating in Extended Spring Training down in St. Lucie.

With respect to Lockett, he is not participating Extended Spring Training as he is currently dealing with elbow soreness. At the moment, there are no reports as to whether Lockett is undergoing additional testing to determine the full nature of his injury.

In addition to Cecchini and Lockett being placed on the Injured List, outfielder Patrick Biondi has been released by the organization. The 28 year old centerfielder was the Mets 2013 ninth round draft pick out of the University of Michigan. Last year, in 92 games split between Binghamton and Las Vegas, he hit .224/.367/.245 with two doubles and seven RBI.

At the moment, there is no news regarding LHP P.J. Conlon. The 25 year old left-hander was outrighted to Syracuse in November, but he was also invited to Spring Training. Last year, he made two starts and one relief appearance for the Mets going 0-0 with an 8.22 ERA, 2.217 WHIP, and a 5.9 K/9. At the moment, he has not been assigned to any of the Mets minor league affiliates, nor has there been an announcement on his roster status.

Other notable minor leaguers who have not been assigned to a roster are Andrew Church, David Roseboom, Zach Rheams, and Jacob Zanon. Check back with MMN for updates on their roster status as well as updates for all of the other Mets minor league players.
