Dominic Hamel stifled the Senators lineup featuring three top-100 prospects, but the bullpen struggled allowing five runs in the eighth. Junior Santos stopped the bleeding and earned the save.
With their win and a Portland Sea Dogs loss, the Rumble Ponies have a commanding five-game lead for a playoff spot.

Two-way player Nolan McLean made his first start and had a solid outing, his only blemish was a walk that scored when he was relieved by Angel Alfonseca. McLean hit 98 mph in the outing and his breaking ball was up to 3151 rpms.
Ben Simon, the Mets 2023 13th round pick had a solid outing as well.
