According to Indians Prospective, the New York Mets have signed right-handed reliever and former Cleveland farmhand Jared Robinson to a minor-league contract with an invite to Spring Training.

Robinson, 26, was an 11th round draft pick of Cleveland in the 2014 draft. Over six MiLB seasons, the Cerritos College (Norwalk, CA) product has pitched to a 3.87 ERA with 325 strikeouts and 146 walks in 383.2 innings pitched.

In 40 appearances between High-A Lynchburg, Double-A Akron, and Triple-A Columbus in 2019, Robinson owned a 3.34 ERA with 1.30 WHIP, 97 strikeouts, and 30 walks in 70 innings of work.

Robinson relies mainly on his four-seam fastball and slider, touching 97 MPH with the former and sitting mid-80s with the latter.
