The New York Mets’ top prospects will take on the top prospects from the Washington Nationals on March 15 at 3:10 p.m. ET. SNY will broadcast the game from Clover Park in Port St. Lucie. It’s part of a single admission doubleheader with the New York Mets major league team playing at 6:10 p.m. ET.

The rosters for this game were revealed this morning on MLB Network, with the Mets side featuring many of their top prospects.

The first annual Spring Breakout event features 16 games over a four-day span to highlight the top prospects from each MLB organization. Each team will construct its roster mostly from its top 30 prospects according to MLB Pipeline rankings. Each team will have 23-27 players on the roster.

Gilbert, Acuña, Rodriguez, Vargas, Hernandez, and Clifford were all acquired by the Mets during the trade deadline last year. Yovanny Rodriguez was signed by the Mets two months ago at the start of international free agency. The catcher received a Mets bonus record of $2.85 million.

As for the rules, the games will typically be seven innings with no extra innings if part of a doubleheader, like the Mets and Nationals.

    • ABS challenges will be available (the automated ball-strike system). Each team will be able to challenge at least three ball-strike calls. A successful overturn gets the challenge returned to the club, and that continues until the club has three unsuccessful challenges.
    • No three-batter minimum for pitchers.
    • Pitchers can re-enter the game (similar to the Shohei Ohtani rule)
    • Limit of seven mound visits
    • Pitch clock
    • Pitchcom allowed
