With the Red Sox losing their 2020 second round pick as punishment for sign-stealing, the Mets second round pick has moved up to No. 69.

The Mets No. 69 pick is compensation for the Phillies signing free agent right-handed starter Zack Wheeler.

Mets have five picks in the top 120 with the No. 19 pick ($3,359,000 slot bonus), No. 52 ($1,403,200), No. 69 ($929,800), No. 91 ($647,300), and No. 120 ($478,300).

The Mets overall bonus pool in a potential five round draft would be $7,174,700 and $8,136,500 for ten rounds.

Major League Baseball and the Players Association came to an agreement that would allow MLB to potentially shorten the 2020 draft to as few as five rounds.
