Drew Gilbert came through big in his rehab outing for St. Lucie and Eli Serrano III continues to show off his defense in Brooklyn.

Triple-A

Lehigh Valley IronPigs (10-2) 5, Syracuse Mets (3-8) 1

Box Score

The Syracuse offense, full of mostly minor league veterans, continued their season-long struggles with only four hits on the day, however, they were able to draw five walks.

Justin Hagenman was plagued by poor control and poor defense on the day as he only allowed one run over his 2 2/3 innings of work while striking out five. On the other hand, Anthony Gose continues to look strong as a lefty option for the New York Mets.

Double-A

Hartford Yard Goats (4-1) , Binghamton Rumble Ponies (1-3) POSTPONED

The Hartford/Binghamton game was postponed due to inclement weather and will be played as a doubleheader tomorrow, April 11th starting at 3 P.M.

High-A

Hudson Valley Renegades (4-2) 8, Brooklyn Cyclones (4-2) 3

Box Score

The 2024 draft class continues to shine in all facets of the game. Although Serrano broke his short hitting streak, he stole a base and made an absolute web gem in the outfield, all while Carson Benge drew two walks, putting his plate discipline on full display.

  • RHP Noah Hall (0.93 ERA) 4 2/3 IP, 1 unearned run, 1 H, 2 BB, 8 K

Noah Hall was lights out in his appearance, striking out eight hitters and only allowing one hit. The bullpen, however, spent the next inning giving up seven earned runs putting the game out of reach.

Low-A

St. Lucie Mets (2-4) 6,  Lakeland Flying Tigers (2-3) 7

Box Score

Drew Gilbert made a rehab start for St. Lucie in right field and looked strong at the plate going 2-3 with a double and a home run. Daiverson Gutierrez went 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBI.

  • RHP Nate Dohm (5.68 ERA) 3 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
  • RHP Irving Cota (0.00 ERA) 4 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 3 K

Nate Dohm looked strong in his start, striking out four over three innings. The velocity is as advertised but the control needs some refinement. Irving Cota played fireman and pitched 4 innings of shutout ball in relief of Dohm.
