Binghamton is loaded across the board with some of the Mets top prospects. Kevin Parada was the Mets top selection in the 2022 draft, and Alex Ramirez is the Mets top rated outfield prospect. Also keep an eye out for Omar De Los Santos who stole 70 bases last year.

Jett Williams will be the name to watch this season. As noted by many scouting outlets, there will be a close eye on his bat. If he hits, he is going to vault up top 100 ranking lists. Ventura gets the Opening Day start after missing a lot of time last year with a pectoral strain. He has electric stuff and can rack up a number of strikeouts.

THREE THINGS TO WATCH

1. Brooklyn Outfield – The Cyclones have the most exciting outfield amongst all the Mets affiliates. Ramirez is the top Mets outfield prospect and is listed on all top 100 prospect rankings. De Los Santos stole 70 bases last season, and he was just one of three minor leaguers with at least 50 stolen bases and 15 homers. Consuegra reclaimed his prospect status with a strong 2022 season.

2. Syracuse Still Has Power – Even without Francisco Álvarez and Brett Baty in the lineup, Syracuse still had plenty of power between Mauricio and Vientos. The two have combined to hit five homers this season with Vientos having exit velocities well over 100 MPH.

3. 2022 Draft Focus – The Mets had two first round picks in the 2022 draft, and they drafted Parada and Williams. Both prospects made top 100 prospect rankings and are now in their first full seasons as professional baseball players. The expectations are high for both with many expecting big years from them.
