Congratulations to Darin Gorski for being named the MMN Pitcher of the Week. Gorski made two starts this past week and did not disappoint in either.

On May 20th, he tossed five innings, allowing two runs on three hits, while walking one and striking out six. He would eventually suffer the loss, however.

He was even better on May 26, going the distance without allowing a run. He coughed up just two hits and one walk, while striking out six. He eventually received the win.

In 52.2 innings pitched this season, Gorski’s ERA sits at a pretty 2.22 with a 4-2 record. He has 54 strikeouts up against 12 walks. He has, however, already given up eight home runs this year. Nonetheless, he should be in line for a promotion soon.
