Congratulations to Hansel Robles for being named the MMN Pitcher of the Week.

In his first start of the week on June 9th, Robles was just alright. In six innings of work, he allowed three earned runs and just three hits,  but one of them was a home run and he walked three as well. He did strike out six, however, to make his stat line look more attractive.

It was Robles’ second start of the week, however, that earned him our Pitcher of the Week honors. He cruised through seven innings on June 14th, allowing three hits and issuing just one free pass this time around. He was very efficient as he kept his pitch count low and only struck out five batters in this one.

Robles has had an up and down season so far with an ERA of 4.48 for the season but it appears he may be entering a groove.
