Albuquerque 10 vs. Las Vegas 51s (32-29) 4

Las Vegas lost their second straight against the Triple-A Affiliate from the Colorado Rockies by a 10-4 final score.

Dilson Herrera had his fourth straight multi hit game as he’s hit .409 in his last ten games. Travis Taijeron added two doubles to his league leading total, he now has 24 doubles on the season.

Robert Gsellman made his Triple-A debut after going 3-4 with a 2.71 ERA in eleven starts with Binghamton. His first Triple-A start was a disaster allowing 10 hits in just three innings.

Gavin Cecchini defensive struggles continues as he made two fielding errors, he now has 17 this season.

Former Met Jose Reyes went 2 for 5 with three runs scored, former Las Vegas 51s player Alex Castellanos went 3 for 4 with two runs batted in.

Binghamton Mets (27-33) 8 vs. Hartford Yard Goats 1

The Binghamton Mets won their third straight and improved to 7-3 in June with a 8-1 win against the Colorado Rockies Double-A Affiliate.

Dominic Smith extended his hitting streak to six games. He has at least one hit in nine of his last ten games. Victor Cruzado has five multi-hit games in his last ten, batting .417 in those ten games. Phillip Evans hit his first home run of the season. He is batting .375 in his last ten games.

Josh Zeid made his debut with the Binghamton Mets after the Mets signed him last week.  Luis Mateo pitched his fifth straight scoreless outing.

St. Lucie Mets (30-30) 12 vs. Dunedin Blue Jays 2

The St. Lucie Mets won their third game in a row against the Dunedin Blue Jays, beating them 12-2.

Luis Guillorme hit his first home run in his pro career. His first in 1052 minor league at bats. Amed Rosario kept on hitting with his fifth multi-hit game in his last nine games. Batting .375 in his last ten games. Rosario is third in the Florida State League with a .311 batting average.

  • Taylor Henry LHP: 1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, K (St. Lucie debut 9.00 ERA)

Ricky Knapp was outstanding again as he pitched seven or more scoreless innings in three of his last five starts. Knapp is now third in the Florida State League in ERA (1.92) and tied for fourth in wins (6). Henry was added to the roster before the game with Domingo Tapia being moved down to the Brooklyn Cyclones roster two days after making his season debut.

Columbia Fireflies (32-30) 8 vs. West Virginia Power 2

The Fireflies swept the three-game series against the Class-A Affiliate from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

David Thompson is hitting .326 in June. Although he did not drive in a run Thompson still leads the SAL with 47 runs batted in. Vinny Siena added two walks, he is now tied for the league lead in walks with 45. Siena leads the league with a .439 on base percentage.

Gaby Almonte made his season debut and was outstanding going six innings without allowing an earned run.

DSL Pirates 6 vs. DSL Mets1 (4-3) 2

Hansel Moreno had his first home run of his pro career, it’s his third year in the DSL. Jeison Rodriguez had his first pro hit and RBI.

Ramon Laguere made his second start. After five scoreless innings in his first he allowed his first runs of the season in his second start.

DSL Astros Orange 9 vs. DSL Mets2 (4-3) 5

BOX SCORE

The DSL Mets2 could not hand the DSL Astros Orange their first lost of the season, as the DSL Astros Orange beat the DSL Mets2 by a 9-5 final score.

Andres Gimenez has started his pro season with a six game hitting streak, batting .375 in those six games.
