Binghamton Mets (23-32) 4 vs. Altoona Curve 3 BOX SCORE

Binghamton won the series against the Pittsburgh Pirates Double-A Affiliate by a final score of 4-2.

Cruzado now has a five-game hitting streak. Dom Smith drove in his 35th RBI of the season which is seventh best in the Eastern League.

Robert Gsellman continued his stellar season, pitching eight solid innings. It’s time the Mets promote him to AAA.

St. Lucie Mets (27-29) 7  vs Brevard County Manatees 0 BOX SCORE

The St. Lucie Mets broke their three game skid by winning this one against the Milwaukee Brewers Class-A Affiliate. Travis d’Arnaud made his first rehab appearance since straining his rotator cuff.

Biondi had his third straight two-hit game.

  • Paul Paez LHP: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 4 K (0.00 ERA)

Kevin McGowan continued his brilliant season pitching five shutout innings and allowing no hits. It was his second start of the season. Paul Paez has also performed well so far this season with 10.1 shutout innings out of the bullpen.

The Columbia Fireflies had a rare Sunday off. They resume play today with Andrew Church on the mound.
