Amed Rosario hit his thirteenth triple of the season which is second in all of the minor leagues. Rosario is hitting .366 in his last ten games.

  • Paul Paez LHP: IP, 3 H, 3 ER, K (9.60 ERA)

Knapp is having a very good season. This was Knapp his fifth quality start in six starts with the Binghamton Mets. Overall, Knapp has pitched to a 13-6 record with a 2.56 ERA between St. Lucie, Binghamton and Las Vegas. Paul Paez keeps struggling since his promotion to Double-A.

St. Lucie Mets (69-59) 3 vs. Palm Beach Cardinals (52-78) 0 BOX SCORE

This was the completion of a suspended game from Saturday.

David Thompson hit a walk-off three run home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Thompson now has 92 runs batted in in 111 games.

The St. Lucie pitching staff allowed just eight hits and one walk in nine innings of work for a shutout victory.

Palm Beach Cardinals (53-78) 8 vs. St. Lucie Mets (69-60) 3 BOX SCORE

Jhoan Urena hit his ninth home run of the season but it was not enough to give the St. Lucie Mets a win. With the loss of the Jupiter Hammerheads the St. Lucie Mets are just a half game back of first place.

Casey Delgado had just his second start where he allowed five or more earned runs with the St. Lucie Mets this season.

Columbia Fireflies (63-70) 8 vs. Kannapolis Intimidators (55-78) 6 BOX SCORE

Dash Winningham hit the go ahead two-run double in the top of the eighth. The Fireflies went 8-20 with runners in scoring position and have won eight of their last ten games. It was the last road game for the Fireflies in their first season.

Over his last three starts, Almonte has allowed 27 hits in just 16.2 innings pitched. Jimmy Duff got his sixth save in eight tries since becoming the Fireflies closer.

Brooklyn Cyclones (34-34) 2 vs. Williamsport Crosscutters (34-33) 1 BOX SCORE

The Cyclones scored two in the seventh on RBIs from Hengelbert Rojas and Arnaldo Berrios. Desmond Lindsay went two for four before he was replaced by Gene Cone is center after being ejected.

Merandy Gonzalez bounced back after not getting through the first in his last start. He went 6.1 this time allowing just one run while, striking out 8. It was the third time this season he struck out eight or more.

Victor Moscote has been one of the best hitters for the GCL Mets. He has hit .350 over his last ten games.

Christian James was the Mets 14th round pick this season. He has pitched to a 0.59 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP in 15.1 innings pitched.
