Rivera overtook Nimmo for the Pacific Coast League batting title. Outfielder Travis Taijeron hit his 42nd double of the season which led the PCL. Nimmo’s on-base percentage ended up as the leagues best.

Evans collected hits in his last three at bats to narrowly win the Eastern League batting title. Dominic Smith did not playing the final game of the year, he finishes his full season in Double-A hitting .302/.367/.457 with 29 doubles, 14 homers and 91 RBI.

Charleston RiverDogs 14, Columbia Fireflies (67-73) 2 Box Score

The Fireflies ended their season in rough fashion, going 1 for 9 with runners in scoring position and left eight men on.

Unfortunately, this is the end of the regular season for the Mets minor leagues. The St. Lucie Mets begin their playoff series tonight with the Bradenton Marauders.
