AAA: Buffalo Bisons (39-25) 14, Syracuse Mets (23-43) 1 BOX SCORE

The Syracuse lineup combined for only three hits on Tuesday. Almora had one, a solo home run in the seventh. With two out in the eighth inning, Cheslor Cuthbert walked and Orlando Calixte singled, but a Mason WIlliams groundout ended the Syracuse scoring threat.

Carrasco, making the second appearance of his rehab assignment as he recovers from a torn hamstring, struggled in 1.2 innings on Tuesday. The 34-year-old gave up a solo home run in the first inning, then issued two leadoff walks to start the second. After a mound visit, Carrasco surrendered back-to-back Buffalo home runs. Reyes entered in relief and did the heavy lifting, allowing five more runs over 5 ⅓ innings.

AA: Erie SeaWolves (38-29) 12, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7 (24-40) BOX SCORE

Binghamton did not score through the first four innings on Tuesday night, then a solo home run by DH Wagner Lagrange in the fifth inning got the Rumble Ponies on the board. In the sixth, Cortes slugged a three-run home run, his 11th of the year. Vientos and Baty both walked and later came around to score. Vientos, playing third base, reached base three times, and Baty, appearing in left field, reached base twice.

The home run ball plagued Binghamton pitching on Tuesday. Rennie surrendered two home runs and seven total runs over only 2.2 innings, and Gilliam allowed three home runs while recording just four outs. Three bullpen arms – Tommy Wilson, Andrew Edwards and Tom Hackimer – contributed five scoreless innings for Binghamton.

A+: Brooklyn Cyclones (23-42) 8, Wilmington Blue Rocks (29-38) 6 BOX SCORE

With two outs in the third, Mauricio hit a ground ball single to left, scoring one run. Alvarez followed Mauricio’s single with a 430-foot three-run home run to give Brooklyn a 5-4 lead.

The Cyclones tacked on three more runs in the fifth, two of which came on a Mauricio single.

Vilera earned the win after allowing four runs in five innings. Otanez entered with two out in the eighth and got out of the inning. He then returned to the mound in the ninth, struck out two and walked three to load the bases. Hejka entered the three-run game with two outs in the ninth and walked the first batter he faced, forcing in a run. He then struck out the final batter to close out the game.

A-: Bradenton Marauders (42-24) 8, St. Lucie Mets (35-32) 6 BOX SCORE

The Mets were held scoreless through the first five innings before breaking out for three in the sixth. Designated Hitter Jaylen Palmer hit a one-out solo home run, then De Los Santos and Jose Peroza followed him with a pair of singles. A sacrifice fly scored De Los Santos and a double scored Peroza. In the eighth, three Mets walked to load the bases, then they came around to score after a wild pitch, a single, and an error.

Moreno got the nod and earned the loss after surrendering two earned runs over four innings, but it was Cavallaro that buried St. Lucie into a deep hole on Tuesday. The reliever walked four batters over 1.2 innings, resulting in four earned runs.

Rookie: FCL Mets (8-5), FCL Nationals (6-9) PPD

Tuesday’s game between the FCL Mets and FCL Nationals was postponed due to rain. It will be made up on July 26.

Foreign Rookie: DSL Cardinals Blue (3-4) 8, DSL Mets1 (4-3) 3 BOX SCORE

All three DSL Mets1 runs came across the plate in the sixth, but it was too little, too late for any sort of comeback bid on Tuesday.

Martinez, 17, got the start and took the loss. He left the game after loading the bases in the third, and the Mets bullpen allowed an inherited runner to score.

Foreign Rookie: DSL Tigers (3-4) 9, DSL Mets2 (3-4) 5 BOX SCORE

DSL Mets2 scored two runs in each of the first two innings, then the bats fell quiet for much of the game. De Los Santos drew a leadoff walk to start the game, and he came around to score on a fielding error.

  • RHP Lenerd Ramos (0-1, 10.80): 2.1 IP, 6 H, 5 R (4 ER), 0 BB, K

Ramos entered in relief with a runner on second and two outs in the third, and he got the out to escape the inning. He then got tagged for four runs in the fourth and another run in the fifth.
