Syracuse held a 3-1 lead going into the seventh until Rochester scored four runs off of reliever Yennsy Díaz. The righty gave up three hits in the inning, two of which were home runs.

However, starter Adam Oller had a solid night on the mound as he gave up a run and struck out four in his 5.1 innings on the mound.

Nick Meyer got on base frequently too as he walked in all three of his plate appearances.

Starter Cole Gordon did a stunning job for the Binghamton pitching staff as he went deep for seven innings. The righty gave up just one run on three hits and struck out six New Hampshire batters.

Relievers Mitch Ragan and Jared Robinson closed out the game as Ragan kept the Fisher Cats at one run in the eighth and Robinson kept them quiet in the ninth.

A+: Brooklyn Cyclones (38-60) 6, Aberdeen IronBirds (50-48) 4

Thanks to a clutch 3-run eighth inning, the Cyclones left Maimonides Park with a 6-4 win over the IronBirds. The productive eighth was propelled by Luis Gonzalez with a 2-RBI single and Nic Gaddis with a sacrifice bunt to bring in a runner.

Three Brooklyn hitters, Jose Peroza, Luke Ritter and Gonzalez, finished their nights with two hits a piece. No. 2-ranked Mets prospect Ronny Mauricio recorded a single in the first inning and scored as he was batted in by Ritter.

Reliever Brian Metoyer earned the win on Friday night as he allowed no runs and just one hit in his two innings on the mound. This came after starter Luc Rennie had a tough night as he allowed four runs in six innings.
